After an expansive national search, Hussell fills a key leadership role as Piezo Kinetics focuses on an expanded growth initiative.
Hussell is a highly successful business leader and brings more than 20 years of sales experience in piezoelectrics as the company looks to expand its sale effort and extend its product and market offering, the firm said. Piezo Kinetics, a company of the Crest Group, manufactures piezoelectric ceramics for a broad range of applications for medical, aerospace, automotive, sonar, ultrasonic welding and cleaning, and industrial markets.
Hussell has held wide-ranging corporate responsibilities during his career including his recent position as Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Engingeering for Channel Products. He is a successful corporate leader who has focused on international sales management, marketing management, product development, and operational excellence. Hussell has comprehensive industry experience in piezo ceramics, aerospace, HVAC, electronic controls design and manufacturing, natural gas compression and combustion, and appliance markets. His implementation experience involves technical products and systems in OEM and aftermarket business development areas, with strong and effective negotiation skills across all organizational levels.
Hussell is an effective turnaround and growth manager restoring and enhancing the value of small to mid-sized businesses through profit and cash planning, budgeting, operations improvement, market planning, and sales implementation. He has held a range of leadership positions including Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Engineering, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Product Management positions for companies with annual sales of $10 million to $100 million.
Hussell holds a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA (Finance) from Cleveland State University. He holds a green belt certification and is a Certified Gas Engineer. Hussell is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honorary group.
